I hold thoroughly orthodox Christian beliefs in relation to the following:
The nature and character of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit
The virgin birth of Jesus the Christ
The reality of Christ’s miracles during his ministry on earth
The literal bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
The reality of heaven and hell
I believe that the Holy Spirit was the source of inspiration for the authors of those books which were later gathered into what we now know as the Bible. I do not, however, believe that such inspiration means that the contents of these books are, of necessity, ‘without error’, nor that their authors were incapable, at times, of putting their own personal or mistaken warp into the views they expressed.
