Committed to a serious spiritual journey outside the 'boxes' ofestablished religious/spiritual traditions
A committed Christian prepared to ask hard questions and re-examine
long-established Christian (especially evangelical-
pentecostal) doctrines and assumptions
our hope is that this web site will challenge you, enlarge your vision, nourish your soul, and help you perform your role within the vanguard with greater courage, commitment, clarity and competence.
Because our thinking and service call has taken each of us, and the partnership, outside established religious/spiritual 'boxes' we will approach all the issues we address in Vanguard Spirituality from our own perspectives, and free of allegiance to any one tradition. We are aware that, because we are seeking to speak across old barriers, you may find some of the languaging unfamiliar and challenging. Our aim has been to find language which creates common ground, facilitates new understandings, and helps to break down the mutual suspicion which currently hampers joint discipleship service between those many individuals and groups committed to externalising the Kingdom of God on earth.
